OCCUPIED PALESTINE, March 12 (YPA) -Israeli occupation forces are planning to expand its military campaign in Lebanon and appear to continue operations against Hezbollah even after concluding its military actions against Ira, Hebrew media reported on Thursday, citing Israeli officials
According to Haaretz, an unnamed diplomatic source said that Israel’s plan to extend the war in Lebanon aims to weaken Hezbollah.
“This is the message Israeli officials are communicating to their counterparts abroad,” the source added.
Another source indicated that Israel’s broader objective is to disarm and dismantle Hezbollah, signaling a strategic focus beyond its current operations.
Although “Israel” rejected a French proposal for a ceasefire with Lebanon earlier this week, multiple parties continue to mediate between the two sides in an effort to prevent further escalation.
