UNRWA: Escalating violence in Lebanon displaces hundreds of thousands

BEIRUT, March 11 (YPA) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said on Wednesday that escalating hostilities in Lebanon have forced hundreds of thousands of people to flee their homes across the country.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the agency stated that it activated its emergency response, opening shelters to displaced families and providing assistance while continuing essential services in Palestine Refugee camps.

UNRWA emphasized that its humanitarian support remains critical amid the crisis.
