IRGC unleashes missile barrage carrying over one-ton warheads on US-Israeli targets
TEHRAN, March 10 (YPA) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Tuesday the launch of the 34th wave of Operation “True Promise 4.”
The operation involved precision missiles carrying over 1-ton warheads, targeting bases belonging to the United States and Israel enemy.
According to the IRGC, as reported by the Al-Mayadeen website, Iranian air defenses also intercepted and shot down a cruise missile from the Israeli-American attack in Iran’s central Markazi province.
The IRGC further stated that Iranian air defenses destroyed several drones belonging to what it described as the US-Israeli aggression in different regions of the country.
On Saturday, February 28, the United States and Israel launched a new round of attacks on Iran, which Iranian sources said killed hundreds of civilians and struck schools, hospitals, mosques, and other public facilities.
In response, Iran initiated Operation “True Promise 4,” targeting Israeli positions and US bases in the region.
