TEHRAN, March 04 (YPA) – Iran’s armed forces announced on Wednesday it had destroyed six Israeli drones—mostly Hermes models—over the cities of Isfahan, Kurdistan, and Tehran in recent hours.
A military statement said ground forces, air defense, and internal security units intercepted the drones using local systems, coordinated through the country’s joint air defense network.
In a related update, Iran’s ground, naval, and air forces launched drone strikes today from multiple regions, targeting US bases in Kuwait and Bahrain, plus sites in occupied Palestinian territories.
Iranian media reported the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) firing fresh waves of rockets and drones at Israel in the past hours.
These actions continue Iran’s “True Promise 4” operation, hitting US bases across the region and deep into Israeli territory in retaliation for US-Israeli aggression on Iranian soil.
