Ansarallah official warns Saudi Arabia over US military presence in Yanbu

SANAA, March 04 (YPA) – Hizam al-Asad, a member of the Ansarallah Political Bureau, issued a warning to Saudi Arabia regarding the US military presence at the Yanbu port on the Red Sea, stating it serves no Saudi interest and poses “complex sovereign challenges” to the region.

Writing on the “X” platform, al-Asad questioned whether Gulf states possess the political will to expel US military bases and Mossad offices from their territories.

He dismissed claims of sovereignty under foreign military oversight as “fake sovereignty” and “media hype,” asserting that the total withdrawal of foreign forces is the only true measure of national sovereignty.
