US drone shot down in Abyan

ABYAN, March. 02 (YPA) – An advanced American aircraft crashed in Abyan governorate, southern Yemen, in an incident shrouded in secrecy and coinciding with the peak of military escalation in the region, informed sources reported.

 

Multiple field sources confirmed that the wreckage found in Masab area of ​​Khabar al-Maraqisha district belongs to a drone, likely an American “MQ-9 Reaper”

 

The sources explained that the aircraft crashed in a remote mountainous area, without yet determining the technical or military reasons behind the incident, or whether the crash resulted from a technical malfunction or a direct attack.

 

This development on the ground comes at a highly sensitive time, as the region witnesses unprecedented confrontations following the American-Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
