Hezbollah condemns “US-Israeli aggression” on Iran, warns of regional consequences

BEIRUT, March 28 (YPA) – Hezbollah issued on Saturday an official statement condemning the recent attack on the Islamic Republic of Iran, describing it as a “treacherous aggression” and a blatant violation of international law and the UN Charter.

Hezbollah characterized the strike as the culmination of months of threats aimed at preventing Tehran from developing its sovereign defensive capabilities and peaceful nuclear program.

The statement asserted that the attack seeks to “destabilize the region” and subjugate nations that maintain independent decision-making outside the sphere of American influence.

Hezbollah expressed full solidarity with the Iranian leadership and people, emphasizing that such pressures will only increase Iran’s “strength and steadfastness” in upholding its legitimate rights.

The statement urged the nations and peoples of the region to confront these “hostile schemes,” warning that the repercussions would impact everyone if not met with a firm response.

Hezbollah concluded by expressing confidence that the objectives of the attack would fail, suggesting that both the U.S. and Israeli occupation would face a significant setback following this escalation.
