Gunmen steal gold worth 80 mln rials in Hadramout

HADRAMOUT, Aug. 4 (YPA) – Gunmen stole more than three kilograms of gold from a goldsmith shop in a market in the center of Sayoun city in Hadramout province on Saturday, a security official told Yemen Press Agency.

The thieves managed, after a year of planning, to break the back door of the shop and loot more than 3 kilograms of gold without being noticed by the market guards, according to the official said.

Sayoun is one of the southern cities that suffer from the security chaos, which has led to the emergence of the assassination and robbery crimes recently.
