QUDS, Feb. 24 (YPA) – The foreign ministers of 18 nations, together with the secretaries-general of the League of Arab States and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, denounced recent measures by the Israeli occupation authorities to expand control over the occupied Palestinian territories.
In a joint statement, the officials described these actions as a clear breach of international law and a serious blow to the two-state solution.
They warned that reclassifying extensive parts of the West Bank as “state lands” hastens settlement activity and effectively advances de facto annexation, contrary to United Nations resolutions and the 2024 advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice.
The ministers urged the Israeli authorities to rescind the decisions without delay, curb settler violence, and release withheld Palestinian tax revenues.
They also reaffirmed their rejection of any demographic or legal alterations in territories occupied since 1967, including East Al Quds city.
