Death toll from Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon rises to 10 martyrs, 25 wounded

BEIRUT, Feb. 21 (YPA) – Lebanon’s Ministry of Health reported on Saturday that the death toll from Israeli strikes on the Bekaa Valley and the Ain al-Hilweh refugee camp in Sidon has risen to 10, with more than 25 others injured, including three children.

In the Bekaa Valley, airstrikes targeted both eastern and western chain areas, including a building near the Al-Qard Al-Hassan Foundation on the Riyaq–Baalbek highway, which was reportedly reduced to rubble.

In Ain al-Hilweh, southern Sidon, new attacks on Friday afternoon resulted in two fatalities and four injuries.

The strikes come after several days of intensified surveillance and drone activity over the region.

Eyewitnesses reported hearing the roar of three rockets, while the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation said the strikes were launched from a naval vessel at sea.
