Yemen’s military capabilities reach highest levels of efficiency: Defense Minister

SANAA, Feb. 18 (YPA) – The Sanaa-based Minister of Defense, Maj.Gen. Mohammed Nasser Al-Atefi, and Chief of the General Staff, Major General Yusuf Hassan Al-Madani, affirmed that Sanaa-based armed forces are fully prepared to confront any provocations from American and Zionist aggression, along with their regional and local allies.

They emphasized that Yemeni military capabilities have reached high levels of readiness to strike at enemies and defend the rights of the Yemeni people.

These remarks were made in congratulatory cables on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, addressed to Sayyed Abdul Malik Al-Houthi and Mahdi al-Mashat, chairman of the Supreme Political Council in Sanaa.

In the same context, Acting Prime Minister of Sanaa, Mohammed Miftah, stressed that Yemen is fully prepared to face any internal or external aggression, holding the Saudi regime fully responsible for the consequences of its attacks and prolonged siege on the country.

He warned against normalizing or tolerating oppression and crimes, noting that continued assaults on holy sites without deterrence pose a grave threat to the future, and that the current situation in Palestine could spread to other regions.

In a Ramadan speech today, Miftah reaffirmed Yemen’s full solidarity with the Palestinian people and the peoples of the region against Zionist-American aggression.

He underscored that Yemen will steadfastly defend the rights of its people and sacred sites, with armed forces fully ready to confront any adventurism or aggression.
