BEIRUT, Feb. 18 (YPA) – Lebanon’s Hezbollah condemned on Tuesday the US economic blockade on Cuba and Washington’s decision to cut off Venezuelan oil supplies, warning that these measures could cause “serious complications” that disrupt the economy and halt basic services for citizens.
In a statement, the party described the actions of the US administration under former President Donald Trump as a “reckless step” in a series of measures targeting countries rejecting dependence.
Hezbollah expressed solidarity with the resilient Cuban people against “American arrogance,” affirming their right to benefit from their natural resources. The party also called on free nations worldwide to unite against the “unjust” US policies and prevent independent countries and peoples from being singled out.
