WASHINGTON, Feb. 17 (YPA) – The U.S. President Donald Trump has claimed that “Israel” will “soon lift the ban on many things in Gaza.”
These remarks were made during statements to reporters late Monday night.
Trump added, “I believe the ‘Peace Council’ will move beyond Gaza and work toward achieving world peace.”
The Gaza Strip continues to suffer from dire humanitarian conditions due to the ongoing and severe tightening of aid and relief entry, coupled with deteriorating living standards resulting from the recent war.
Regarding Iran, Trump stated that he would be indirectly involved in negotiations with Tehran this Tuesday, warning of the consequences should they fail to reach an agreement.
“Iran wants to make a deal, and I will be involved in the talks indirectly,” he said.
The U.S. President added, “I don’t think Iran wants to bear the consequences of not reaching an agreement.”
