GAZA, Feb. 15 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces carried out two new deadly attacks against Palestinian civilians in the northern and southern Gaza Strip at dawn on Sunday, killing 10 people, amid continued demolition and destruction operations that underscore an ongoing breach of the ceasefire agreement in the besieged enclave.
According to Snd News Agency, four people were killed and one critically injured in an Israeli drone strike that targeted tents sheltering displaced persons near the Telecommunications Junction, west of Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.
The bodies of the victims were transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital and Al-Saraya field hospital in Gaza City.
In southern Gaza, five people were killed in an Israeli strike near the Turkish slaughterhouse west of Khan Younis. The victims were taken to Nasser Medical Complex. Civil defense crews were unable to retrieve two additional bodies due to the dangerous conditions in the area.
Israeli occupation forces carried out demolition operations around Sheikh Zayed Roundabout, north of Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza. The operations were accompanied by artillery shelling and gunfire from military vehicles. Residential buildings east of Jabalia were also demolished.
The Israeli army detonated three booby-trapped vehicles one after another near the Sheikh Zayed area in northern Gaza.
Israeli artillery shelled Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City and areas east of Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. Airstrikes also continued on Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Ministry of Health said it is continuing to document cases and provide urgent medical support to the victims.
It stressed the urgent need for immediate international intervention to halt the aggression and protect civilians.
