Campaign titled with “No To Israeli Products” held in Britain to support Gaza

LONDON, Feb. 13 (YPA) – Activists in the British city of Brighton launched a popular campaign called “No to Israeli Products” in a message of solidarity with the Palestinian people and in rejection of the crimes of the Israeli occupation.

The activists went door-to-door in the city, urging residents to boycott Israeli products as part of efforts to declare the city an “apartheid-free zone” and to deliver a message of solidarity with Palestine.

The campaign organizers from the “Brighton PSC” group explained that more than 70 households have pledged to boycott so far, stressing that the initiative aims to build a model of local popular and economic pressure to stop the occupation policies.

During field visits in the city center, volunteers explained to residents the idea of refraining from buying Israeli products, while the campaign extended to the arts scene, where concerts by the band “Di Va Voi” were canceled after pressure from pro-Palestinian activists.

Several British cities, most notably London, Brighton, and Manchester, witnessed large protests and demonstrations under the slogans “Stop the war in Gaza” and “Stop military support for Israel.”
