Israeli occupation army shells towns in southern Lebanon

BEIRUT, Feb. 12 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces launched artillery shelling of southern Lebanese border towns, local sources reported

According to Lebanese media sources, Israeli artillery shelling targets the outskirts of the town of Maroun al-Ras, in a new round of shelling targeting southern Lebanon’s border areas.

Sources added that the “Israeli” artillery targeted the vicinity of al-Azziyeh hill on the outskirts of the town of Deir Mimas, raising tensions in the region.

In a related incident, the Israeli occupation army reportedly fired a mortar shell toward the outskirts of the Al-Labouna area, as part of a series of sporadic attacks along the border in recent hours.
