Gaza death toll tops 72,045 from continued Israeli genocidal war

GAZA, Feb. 13 (YPA) – At least 72,045 Palestinians have been killed in genocidal war launched by the Israeli occupation on the Gaza Strip since October 2023, the Health Ministry said on Thursday.

A ministry statement said that 8 bodies were brought to hospitals in the last 24 hours, while 20 people were injured, taking the number of injuries to 171,686 in the Israeli onslaught.

“Many victims are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads as rescuers are unable to reach them,” it added.

The statement revealed that the death toll since the ceasefire on October 11 amounted to 591 martyrs, with 1,578 injured, in addition to the recovery of the bodies of 720 martyrs.
