KHARTOM, Feb. 07 (YPA) – About 24 people, including 8 children, were killed on Saturday after Rapid Support Forces targeted a bus carrying displaced civilians in North Kordofan state, the Sudan Doctors Network said in a statement on Saturday.
According to the network, the attack occurred near the city of Al-Rahd and struck a vehicle transporting people who had fled the fighting in the Dabaker area. Among the victims were two infants.
The network urged the international community to take immediate measures to protect civilians in Sudan’s conflict zones.
Earlier, the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned a separate RSF drone strike on World Food Program trucks delivering humanitarian aid in North Kordofan, which resulted in casualties and the destruction of relief supplies.
