UNRWA: West Bank faces largest displacement wave since 1967 amid systematic home demolitions

OCCUPIED QUDS (JERUSALEM) Feb. 01 (YPA) –  The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) warned on Sunday that the West Bank is experiencing its most significant forced displacement of Palestinians since 1967, driven by ongoing Israeli occupation military operations.

The agency stated that tens of thousands remain displaced a year after the launch of the so-called “Iron Wall” operation. It emphasized that Palestinian homes are being systematically destroyed to prevent residents from returning, aiming to impose a permanent demographic shift.

Furthermore, UNRWA highlighted a surge in Zionist settler attacks and a pervasive “culture of impunity,” noting that these violations continue amid a complete lack of international accountability.
