Two Palestinian brothers injured by Israeli fire in Tulkarm

TULKARM, Jan. 28 (PA) – The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said that its crews received a report of two injured persons in the northern neighborhood of Tulkarm.

Palestinian sources reported that the occupation soldiers opened fire on Khader Muhammad Shahada and his sister, Sadeel, as they exited their house, wounding both in the thigh.

The PRCS managed to transfer the 19-year-old girl to Martyr Thabet Hospital with a gunshot wound to the thigh. The occupation soldiers prevented the medical teams from reaching her injured brother, detaining him and taking him to an unknown location.

The two injured siblings are the children of Muhammad Shahada, a Fatah official in the Tulkarm refugee camp.

This escalation comes amid the continued aggression of the occupation against the city of Tulkarm and its two camps, now ongoing for the 367th consecutive day.
