GAZA, Jan. 24 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army continued to violate the ceasefire on Saturday through live fire, home demolitions, and attacks on Palestinian civilians across much of the Gaza Strip, especially in areas designated as the “yellow line.”
A Palestinian was injured by Israeli army gunfire near the Jasser Building in central Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, amid ongoing demolition operations and artillery shelling.
Israeli tanks opened heavy fire east of Khan Younis, while naval boats continued firing west of the city.
Occupation military vehicles also opened fire east of Al-Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes targeted the eastern areas of Gaza City.
Since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11, the total number of fatalities has reached 477, with 1,301 injuries, and a total of 713 bodies recovered.
Since the beginning of the aggression on October 7, 2023, the death toll has risen to 75,562, with 711,379 injured.
