Israeli occupation assassinates three journalists in central Gaza

GAZA, Jan. 21 (YPA) – Three journalists were killed on Wednesday as a result of an Israeli bombing their car in the central Gaza Strip.

According to Palestinian media, the journalists were targeted by the Israeli warplanes while performing a media mission for the Egyptian Committee, in a new crime added to the record of targeting the Palestinian press.

This crime came in the context of a continuous bloody escalation, as eight more citizens were killed in separate raids, including three brothers east of Bureij camp, and three citizens east of Deir al-Balah, including a father and his child, in addition to the martyrdom of a woman and a child in Khan Younis south of the Strip.

Since the start of the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, the number of journalists who have been martyred as a result of direct targeting has increased to 260, in one of the bloodiest campaigns against media professionals in the history of modern conflicts.
