TAIZ, Jan. 20 (YPA) – Dozens of residents of Dhubab district, overlooking Bab al-Mandab Strait in western Taiz governorate, staged a protest on Tuesday demanding information about the fate of their sons recruited in the factions led by Tariq Saleh.

The protesters confirmed that their four sons went missing, while on a naval mission within Tariq Saleh’s formations, during the past few months, and have not returned to this day, amid conflicting reports about their detention in Djibouti prisons.
The families of the recruits explained that they were surprised by the suspension of their sons salaries without any official explanation regarding their legal status, holding Tariq Saleh fully responsible for their lives and demanding their immediate return to their families.
It should be noted that the families stated that they will continue to escalate their protests and carry out broader demonstrations if their legitimate demands are not met, emphasizing that these actions come after exhausting all means of communication with the relevant authorities.
In addition, the protesters raised pictures of the four conscripts, Anas Mohammed Thabet Jama’i, Nazih Ali Mohammed Al-Anbari, Mukhtar Hussein Al-Battah, and Mohammed Ali Ali Al-Qudaimi, denouncing the neglect and indifference with which their case was met by the leadership affiliated with Tariq Saleh.
