Mukalla hit by gas, fuel shortages

HADRAMOUT, Jan. 19 (YPA) – The city of Mukalla, in Hadramout Governorate, has been experiencing an acute shortage of household gas and vehicle fuel for several weeks.

Citizens were seen forming long queues at public and private gas stations after only small quantities of household gas arrived.

Hundreds waited from dawn with cylinders to meet their domestic needs, while stations serving taxis and private vehicles experienced similar queues, causing congestion in surrounding streets.
