Several Palestinians injured as Zionist settlers attack Bedouin community northeast of Quds (Jerusalem)
QUDS, Jan. 18 (YPA) — Several Palestinians were injured, and several homes and vehicles were set on fire on Saturday evening in a wide-scale attack by Israeli colonists on the Bedouin community of Khallet al-Sidra, near the town of Mikhmas, northeast of Quds (Jerusalem).
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that dozens of settlers launched an assault on the community, firing live ammunition, attacking residents, and setting fire to several homes and vehicles.
Several people were injured in the attack.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society stated that its teams responded to two injuries resulting from the assault on civilians near Mikhmas.
The Jerusalem Governorate added that the Khallat al-Sidra Bedouin community is subjected to daily attacks and harassment by settlers as part of ongoing pressure aimed at forcibly displacing residents to pave the way for settlement projects on its land.
