Sanaa missile forces target Saudi defense ministry building in Riyadh

SANAA, Oct. 22 (YPA) – Yemen’s Sanaa-based armed forces declared on Thursday four military operations targeting Saudi vital facilities over the past 48 hours, using ballistic missiles and drones.

In a statement, military spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Sarie said that the missile and drone targeted the Saudi Defense Ministry building in Riyadh, King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, an Aramco facility in Yanbu, and Abha International Airport.

He affirmed that the strikes directly hit their targets, disrupting airport traffic in Dammam and causing a fire at the Yanbu site.

The spokesman described the operations as retaliation for Saudi escalation, adding that more than 2,900 airstrikes and missile attacks over the past 100 days had killed or injured more than 562 people, mostly women and children.

Brig. Gen. Sarie warned Saudi Arabia against targeting Yemeni tribes, threatening a severe response if such threats were carried out.

He vowed to continue operations inside Saudi Arabia until the aggression and blockade is ended.
