SANAA, Jan. 10 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has renewed warnings regarding an intense cold wave currently affecting the Yemeni provinces.
In its weather bulletin on Saturday, the center affirmed that the cold to very cold weather would hit the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda, Ibb, eastern Jawf and southern Marib, with the formation of frost, in additional to mountainous highlands of Lahj, Abyan, Hajjah, Mahweet, Rayma, Dhalea, Taiz, Shabwa, Hadramout, and Mahra
It warned also citizens in the mountainous highlands, deserts and interior plateaus of cold weather, especially the elderly, children, patients and workers during the night and early morning, calling to take the necessary precautions to prevent cold shocks.
The center advised farmers to take appropriate measures to protect their crops and crops.
