GAZA, Jan. 10 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army continues its violations of the ceasefire agreement on its 92nd day, across various areas of the Gaza Strip.
According Palestinian sources, Israeli warplanes carried out two airstrikes on the northern Gaza Strip. An Israeli Apache helicopter also opened fire east of Jabalia, north of the Strip.
Israeli artillery shelled several areas in Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip, in addition to targeting the eastern neighborhoods of Gaza City.
Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes launched an airstrike on Rafah in southern Gaza, coinciding with artillery shelling of the city.
Israeli fighter jets were seen flying at low altitude over southern Gaza, as military vehicles continued to open heavy fire north of the city of Rafah. Tanks also shelled eastern areas of Gaza City.
In a separate incident, an Israeli airstrike targeted a residential home east of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza.
Palestinian sources reported the occupation army has committed at least 1,193 violations of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, which has been in effect since October 10 of last year.
