“Presidential Leadership Council” reportedly moves to dismiss Al-Zubaidi

ADEN, Jan. 07 (YPA) – Chairman of  Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), Rashad al-Alimi, loyal to the Saudi-led coalition, has decided to dismiss Aidarous al-Zubaidi, head of  UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) from the council, local media reported.

A senior adviser to Al-Alimi said the council made a final decision to remove Al-Zubaidi from the body.

Al-Alimi accused Al-Zubaidi of committing acts of high treason, harming military, political, and economic centers, forming armed gangs, carrying out killings of officers and soldiers, and exploiting the just southern cause while committing grave violations against civilians.
