Ongoing breaches: Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling hit areas across Gaza Strip

GAZA, Jan. 07 (YPA) -The Israeli occupation army continued its violations of the ceasefire agreement on its 89th day, across various areas of the Gaza Strip.

As part of the ongoing attacks, Israeli warplanes carried out two airstrikes on eastern Khan Yunis in the south and Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, while Israeli artillery fired intensively east of Gaza City.

Israeli military vehicles also opened fire east and north of Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.

Since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11, 2025, the total number of martyrs has reached 424, with 1,199 injuries, while 685 bodies of martyrs were recovered.
