Saudi Arabia strikes STC positions in Dhalea

DHALEA, Jan. 07 (YPA) – Saudi aircraft carried out new airstrikes at dawn today targeting UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias in Dhalea Governorate, local media sources reported.

The sources said the Saudi aircraft struck an STC weapons depot on a mountain in Jahaf District, west of the city of Dhalea, with two airstrikes, which resulted in a massive fire.

They said aircraft continued flying over the governorate.

Earlier, around midnight, the sources noted that Saudi aircraft had launched five airstrikes on the hometown of STC president Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, targeting Zubeid and the Al-Zand camp, striking weapons and ammunition depots that the STC had stockpiled over the past two weeks after the Saudi-backed  “Dera Al-Watan” forces took control of Hadramout and Mahra governorates.
