Soldier killed, four injured by SDF drone in Aleppo

DAMASCUS, Jan. 06 (YPA) – A Syrian army soldier was killed and 4 were injured on Tuesday in a Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) drone attack in Aleppo city of Syria.

The Syrian news agency (SANA) confirmed in the death toll from the shelling carried out by the SDF on residential buildings in the Maidan neighborhood of Aleppo city has risen to 3 civilians, including two women.

“Clashes broke out near the Shihan roundabout in Aleppo after SDF forces attacked Syrian army positions,” the statement said.

For its part, the SDF accused what it called factions affiliated with the Damascus government of targeting the densely populated area of Deir Hafir with civilians.

Th SDF held those factions fully responsible for the repercussions of this dangerous escalation, confirming that its forces reserve the right to respond to attacks in defense of its people and security and stability.
