Death toll from Israeli genocide in Gaza Strip rises to 71,391, with 171,279 wounded

GAZA, Jan. 06 (YPA) – The cumulative death toll from the ongoing Israeli occupation genocide in the Gaza Strip rose to 71,391 martyrs and 171,279 injuries on Tuesday, according to the daily statistical report from the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.

The ministry reported that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received two martyrs, including a new martyr and a body of a martyr who was recovered, in addition to 10 wounded during the past 24 hours.

The report stated, “A number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams have been unable to reach them at this time.”

Gaza Health Ministry confirmed that the death toll since the ceasefire on October 11 has reached 424, with 1,199 wounded, in addition to the recovery of the bodies of 685 martyrs.
