New cases of malnutrition recorded among children in Gaza

GAZA, Jan. 04 (YPA) – The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip confirmed, on Sunday, that it had recorded new cases of malnutrition among children, particularly in Gaza City.

The ministry indicated that thousands of children in the Strip are born with abnormal weights as a result of malnutrition.

Despite the ceasefire agreement, the occupation continues its violations by preventing the entry of the agreed-upon humanitarian aid.

During the two-year war, the Gaza Strip witnessed its largest acute food and humanitarian crisis as a result of a combination of factors, including a prolonged economic blockade and a significant decline in the population’s access to sufficient and nutritious food.
