DAMASCUS, Jan. 02 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces stormed on Friday areas of Quneitra in southern Syria.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on its website that a patrol of the Israeli occupation consisting of three military vehicles set up a temporary barrier on the road connecting the villages of Umm Al-Azam and Al-Mushairfa in the central countryside of Quneitra.
It affirmed that the patrol stopped civilians passing by and searched them, before later withdrawing towards its new military base in the village of Adnaniya.
The Observatory pointed out that the developments came within the repeated violations carried out by the occupation forces inside Syrian territory in light of the continuous silence of the current Syrian authorities.
