15 Palestinians injured by Zionist settlers in West Bank

QUDS, Jan. 02 (YPA) – A number of Palestinian citizens were injured on Friday in groups of settlers’ attack on the homes of Palestinian citizens in the The Khaleel Al-Luz area southeast of the city of Bethlehem in the south of the occupied West Bank, under the protection of the Israeli enemy forces.

The Palestinian Red Crescent said that its crews in Bethlehem dealt with 15 injured during the attack by settlers and the Israeli occupation army in the city, according to the “Sanad” news agency.

It pointed out that 6 children were treated for suffocation due to inhaling tear gas, and 2 citizens were injured as a result of being severely beaten.

The Red Crescent affirmed out that the injured were treated on the ground, adding that the occupation forces and settlers hindered the work of the ambulance during the attack.

The sources said that a group of settlers attacked the homes of citizens with stones and surrounded them, which caused a state of fear and panic among the parents, especially children.

The sources pointed out that the occupation forces provided protection to the settlers, and fired stun grenades and poison gas towards the houses, which led to the injury of a number of citizens suffocating, before the area was completely closed.
