CAIR condemns U.S. supply of F-15 fighter jets to “Israel”

WASHINGTON, Jan. 01 (YPA) – The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has condemned the $8.6 billion contract awarded by the U.S. administration to Boeing, which includes the design, testing, production, and delivery of F-15 fighter jets to the Israeli occupation.

In a statement regarding the contract, CAIR National Deputy Director Edward Ahmed Mitchell denounced the decision, labeling it as “reprehensible.”

“This contract sends a clear message that American corporations and foreign governments can profit without facing any consequences for the crimes against humanity committed by Israel,” Mitchell stated.

He further emphasized that “pumping billions of dollars and providing the Israeli military with advanced weaponry is morally unjustifiable,” calling on the U.S. administration and Congress to immediately halt all weapon shipments to Israel.

On Tuesday, the U.S. Department of Defense (Pentagon) announced the $8.6 billion award to Boeing for the Israeli F-15 fighter program. According to the Department, the contract covers the design, integration, testing, and delivery of 25 new F-15IA aircraft for the Israeli Air Force, with an option to include an additional 25 units.
