GAZA, Dec. 29 (YPA) – Two Palestinian civilians were injured Monday morning after Israeli occupation forces shelled the Al-Faluja area in northern Gaza, marking new violations of the ceasefire.
According to Palestinian sources, Gaza has witnessed a series of breaches in recent hours.
Israeli airstrikes targeted the Sheikh Zayed area east of Beit Lahia and Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza. Israeli military vehicles also opened fire toward residents’ homes north of Rafah.
Meanwhile, Israeli artillery shelling hit eastern areas of Khan Younis in the south.
These attacks are part of ongoing violations of the Gaza ceasefire.
The Gaza government media office documented 969 violations by the occupation forces since the ceasefire agreement came into effect on October 10, resulting in 418 deaths and 1,141 injuries.
