Hamas condemns mutual recognition between Israeli occupation, Somaliland

GAZA, Dec. 27 (YPA) – The Hamas movement condemned the Israeli occupation’s decision to recognize the separatist administration declared in the “Somaliland” region.

In a statement, the movement considered the Israeli move a dangerous precedent, rejecting an attempt to gain false legitimacy from a fascist entity occupying the land of Palestine, involved in war crimes and genocide.

“The resort of the war criminal Netanyahu’s government to recognize a separatist administration in Somalia reflects the depth of the international isolation under which the Zionist entity is languishing, as a result of the genocidal crimes committed against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip,” the statement.

It praised the stances taken by Arab and Islamic countries in condemning this dangerous behavior, which violates international law and undermines Somalia’s unity and sovereignty.

The statement warned the malicious Zionist policies aimed at fragmenting the Arab countries and destabilizing them and interfering in their internal affairs, in service of the Zionist colonial project.
