Foreign Ministry in Sana’a discusses with Qatar Charity aspects of cooperation, developing joint work

SANAA, Dec. 22 (YPA) – The Deputy Foreign Minister of Sana’a government, Abdulwahid Abu Ras, met on Monday with Fawzi Hassan, Head of the Field Offices Department at the main office of Qatar Charity, to discuss aspects of cooperation between Yemen and the organization and ways to strengthen and develop it.

During the meeting, Abu Ras expressed appreciation for the humanitarian role the organization plays in Yemen, stressing the need to redouble efforts in the coming period to meet the increasing needs and alleviate the suffering endured by the Yemeni people as a result of the aggression, blockade, and hostile policies they are subjected to.

He reiterated the Foreign Ministry’s readiness to provide all necessary facilities for the organization’s work in Yemen and to overcome any difficulties it faces in the field.

For his part, Fawzi Hassan praised the level of support and facilities provided to the organization by the Foreign Ministry and relevant government agencies, affirming the organization’s continued commitment to provide all possible forms of humanitarian support to the Yemeni people.
