Yemeni knights qualify for Tent Pegging World Cup finals 2026
CAIRO, Dec. 12 (YPA) – The Yemeni National Equestrian Team has successfully qualified for the Tent Pegging World Cup Finals 2026, which is scheduled to be hosted in Jordan.
The qualification came after the Yemeni team secured second place (Runners-up Cup and Silver Medals) in the International Tournament that concluded its competitions today, Friday, in Egypt, with the participation of seven teams.

- Egypt (437 points)
- Yemen (389 points) – Qualified
- UAE (375 points)
The tournament saw an outstanding performance from the Yemeni knights, who achieved second place in the lance competitions on the first day, and benefited from the reduction in the number of qualifying teams to only the first and second places to secure their spot.
