Another infant dies in Gaza due to severe cold

GAZA, Dec. 12 (YPA) – A new infant girl died in Gaza, on Friday, due to severe cold, as the occupation continues to prevent the entry of prefabricated homes and relief supplies for displaced people trapped inside flooded tents.

 

According to a medical source, the number of children who have died in less than 24 hours has risen to two, after infant Rahaf Abu Jazar died inside her family’s tent in the Mawasi area of ​​Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, due to the severe cold accompanying the storm hitting Gaza.

 

A severe storm has been hitting the Strip since dawn on Wednesday, leading to the flooding of thousands of tents in various displacement areas due to heavy rains, with expectations that the stormy weather will continue until Friday evening.
