New Palestinian prisoner dies in Israeli occupation prisons

WEST BANK, Dec. 10 (YPA) – The Palestinian Civil Affairs Authority informed the Palestinian Prisoners’ Affairs Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club, on Wednesday, of the death of detainee Abdul Rahman Sufian Muhammad al-Sabateen (21 years old), who had been detained since June 24, 2025, from the town of Husan in Bethlehem, at the Israeli Shaare Zedek Hospital.

 

The number of martyrs among prisoners and detainees in the occupation’s prisons since October 2023 has risen to 85 martyrs, and these are only those whose identities are known.

 

It is noteworthy that this number is the highest in history, making this period the bloodiest in the history of the prisoners’ movement since 1967.

 

In the same context, the number of martyrs of the prisoners’ movement whose identities are known since 1967 has risen to 322, noting that there are dozens of martyrs from Gaza detainees who are subjected to enforced disappearance.
