Iranian-Saudi-Chinese statement calls for immediate halt to “Israeli aggression,” supports Political solution in Yemen

TEHRAN, Dec. 09 (YPA) – Iran, Saudi Arabia, and China issued a joint trilateral statement on Tuesday, calling for the immediate cessation of Israeli aggression against Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria, and expressing support for a comprehensive political solution in Yemen under UN supervision.

The statement followed the third meeting of the Trilateral Committee to monitor the implementation of the “Beijing Agreement,” held in Tehran and attended by the Deputy Foreign Ministers of the three nations.

The three countries emphasized the importance of strengthening good neighborly relations and committed to de-escalating tensions and supporting regional stability amidst mounting risks.

Tehran and Riyadh welcomed the continued Chinese role in bridging viewpoints. Both the Iranian and Saudi sides reiterated their full commitment to the terms of the “Beijing Agreement” and working to deepen economic and political cooperation, while also praising the progress made in consular services between the two nations.
