At least six Palestinians killed, others injured in Israeli airstrikes on Khan Younis

GAZA, Dec. 04 (YPA) -At least six Palestinians were killed and others injured on Wednesday evening in Israeli air, artillery, and drone strikes, as well as fire from tanks and military vehicles, targeting southern and eastern Gaza.

Palestinian sources reported that Israeli warplanes launched a series of strikes on displaced people’s tents in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis governorate in southern Gaza, killing five, including two children, and injuring dozens of others.

The attacks in Al-Mawasi caused several tents to catch fire, worsening the plight of families who had sought refuge in the area for safety.

Medical sources at the Kuwait Field Hospital said their teams recovered five bodies from the Al-Najah camp for displaced persons in Al-Mawasi, noting that the victims were severely burned.

Simultaneous strikes were reported in the western part of Khan Younis, while Israeli military vehicles fired toward areas east of the city amid intensive warplane activity.

In Gaza City, Israeli drones opened fire near the Shujaiya junction east of the city, causing panic among residents and displaced persons in the area.
