Khamenei: Iranian people defeated America, “Israel” in 12-day war

TEHRAN, Nov. 28 (YPA) – The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Sayyid Ali Khamenei, asserted that the Iranian people “undoubtedly defeated” the Americans and the Zionist entity in what he termed the “12-Day War,” indicating that Washington and Tel Aviv failed to achieve any of the objectives of their attack on Iran.

In a televised address to the Iranian people on Thursday evening, Khamenei noted that “the enemy came and committed evil, but they were defeated and returned disappointed; it was a devastating defeat for them,” stressing that the Islamic Republic has proven to be a “center of will and strength” that can stand firm and make decisions without fear of the noise.

Sayyid Khamenei also described the “Basij” (Mobilization) as a valuable national movement with a widespread presence in all fields (economic, industrial, scientific, etc.), considering the vitality of the Basij a source for the growth of people’s resistance against the world’s oppressors.

He pointed out that the element of resistance that originated in Iran can now be seen in slogans supporting Palestine and Gaza worldwide, including in Western countries and America.
