Mahra tribes raise ceiling to address Emirati threats towards Hadramout

MAHRA, Nov. 25 (YPA) – Mahra sit-in committee against foreign forces warned of the seriousness of the explicit Emirati threats targeting the “Hadramout Tribal Alliance”.

In a statement on Tuesday, the committee described the UAE threats as an attempt to ignite sedition and push Hadramout into a circle of conflict and chaos.

It considered that the threats of the war waved by the so-called “Abu Ali al-Hadrami”, belonging to the United Arab Emirates, to the head of the Alliance, Sheikh Amr bin habrish, represented an explicit targeting of all Hadramout tribes, in an attempt to impose a dangerous project that threatens security and social peace.

The statement pointed out that igniting any conflict in Hadramout would not be limited to its borders, but would extend to affect the entire eastern provinces, especially the province of Mahra, which is connected with Hadramout by historical relations, social ties and deep-rooted Tribal Alliances, all of which reject foreign projects.

“Any bet to push Hadramout into internal fighting or dismantle its tribal unit is a losing bet, and its high price will be paid by everyone without exception,” the committee’s statement stressed.

It announced the committee’s categorical rejection of any threat targeting the Hadramout Tribal Alliance or its symbols, or trying to undermine its will to defend the rights of the province, blaming external parties and their local tools for full responsibility for any chaos that may erupt in the province and the region.

The statement renewed the full solidarity of the Mahra sit-in committee with the Alliance and its leadership in the face of escalation situations, stressing its support for their right to protect their entity and preserve their unity.
