UN Yemen envoy meets Iranian Foreign Minister in Muscat

MUSCAT, Nov. 25 (YPA) – The United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for Yemen, Hans Grundberg, met with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in Muscat on Monday.

According to the Iranian News Agency (IRNA), during the meeting, the UN Special Envoy for Yemen presented a report on the developments related to Yemen and called for the continued support of Iran for the UN’s role and its efforts to improve the situation and advance the peace process in Yemen.

For his part, the Iranian Foreign Minister condemned the Israeli entity’s aggression and attacks on countries in the region, as well as the continued blockade and sanctions imposed on Yemen. He warned of the consequences of Israel’s violation of the law in spreading chaos and instability in the region.
