GAZA, Nov. 22 (YPA) – The World Food Programme (WFP) reported that families in Gaza are facing cash shortages and do not have enough money to buy their essential needs, some of which may be available in markets.
It noted that “many residents of the Gaza Strip are unable to secure their basic needs despite the ceasefire.”
The WFP added that “some goods, vegetables, and fruits have entered Gaza, but their prices are extremely high and the population cannot afford them,” emphasizing that “the killing of Palestinians continues in Gaza despite the ceasefire agreement.”
The World Food Programme also warned that living conditions for families in Gaza are expected to worsen in the coming days due to the winter weather.
