QUDS, Nov. 19 (YPA) – Al-Quds Brigades declared on Wednesday that its fighters confronted Israeli occupation forces who stormed the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, as part of ongoing field operations in the area.
In a statement, the Brigades said that its members in the Beit Ummar unit engaged the invading Israeli force according to the circumstances and realities on the ground.
They indicated that an infantry unit was targeted in the Al-Bayada area with several anti-personnel mines and hand grenades.
The statement added that the operation resulted in confirmed casualties among the Israeli occupation forces, without providing further details.
Earlier in the day, Beit Ummar was witnessed a heavy military deployment of occupation forces, amidst continued Israeli attacks in various areas of the West Bank and escalating confrontations between Israeli occupation forces and Palestinian resistance groups.
